Fiddle and banjo, Johnny Connors - piano, Decca 12129. These musicians look to have recorded with tin whistler Myles O'Malley, who cut some discs with a group on the same day, in the same city (NYC), with the same piano player. Off to the Hunt is found in old books and resembles in its first part the common jig Old Man Dillon, which Francis O'Neill named after a fiddle player of his acquaintance. They follow with one of the old favorites, often recorded on old sides.
